Still preggers!

Yes - that's right I am still preggers but not fro long! ;o) The Doctor decided not to start my labor just yet cause my body was just not 100% ready for it today. But the good news is that if I do not go into labor myself in the next 4 days they are going to induce labor on December 16. So I am really happy to hear I wont be going over my due date - this is so exciting and I can't wait for Wednesday to arrive! ;o)

My fabulous friend Kimberly Neddo was wonderful enough to play with a scrapbook kit I created a while back for my mom's store - Skrapp og gaman.is. She created several fantastic creations and I encourage you all to hop over to her blog and see all the fabness. But here is one layout that she made using the kit from my mom's store.

Tomorrow ...

... is the day we will know more about when our baby girl will be born into this world. She is rather big at this stage (only 6 days until my due-date) and my midwife and doctors think she might just be ready to say hello to the world. Better for me and her to be born sooner rather then later. As you can see I am getting a bit tired and looking ohh so preggers theses days! ;o)

I am going to the hospital for a final check-up in the morning and a decision will be made tomorrow - so maybe I will be a mommy of two girls by the end of the weekend!

One week!!!!!!

It is getting soooooo close to the little ones due-date - only 7 days. ;o)

She is getting a bit too big so there is a good chance that the arrival will happen this weekend - and I am all for it. I am so ready to bring my little princess into the world and enjoy that new baby smell as long as I can. So I am all prepared to be in labor sometime this weekend since she is getting really big - no need to let her get way too big. Not good for me or her.

I am just taking it easy until I go to the hospital on Friday  morning - and here is hoping! ;o)

Only 18 days left!

The princess nr. 2 is due in only these short 18 days - and I have to say that I am so ready for her arrival and I am keeping my fingers crossed that she will be on time! ;o)

I have been busy washing all of Helga's tiny clothes and I am actually surprised at how little my BIG girl was only 2 years ago. They sure do grow super fast. All the washing should be done this weekend and then I can start decorating fro Christmas - woohoo. I can't wait to decorate our new apartment - and since it is a lot bigger than our old one I have the perfect excuse to buy more Christmas stuff! Don't ya think? ;o)

LOL - well it is back to the laundry room so I shall leave you with a layout about my little chocolate lover using the yummy BG Nook & Pantry collection.

My own private piece of heaven is ready!

Yes you guessed it my little scrap-room is all done - just the way I like it. Bright, functional and organized. I am so happy to have a little space of my own and it makes it easier to keep curious little fingers from my projects. ;o)

Still here!

I haven't blogged for quite a while - and the reason for that is that we were moving to our very first home so no more renting! ;o) With the help of lots of wonderful friends we moved from one apartment to another in just about 4 hours - so I think we have the best friends and family ever!

Everything went smoothly and I didn't lift a finger - one of the perks of being pregnant. ;o) We are slowly settling in and putting all our stuff in their perfect spot in the house. It sure takes a bit longer when one is moving at preggers speed.

My fav room in the house is my very own scraproom - and I just finished putting everything away this evening. Don't worry I will post pics as soon as I take them tomorrow. The apartment is fantastic - so bright, lots of space and just ever so perfect for all of us. Helga Soffía sure likes to be able to run around the apartment - I guess she will never get tired of running and laughing. ;o)

Well that is all for now - I am a bit tired now and I am gonna chill in front of the TV for a bit. :o)

The age 33 has arrived and I still don't feel a year older - OK I admit I am older and I might not feel older but I feel so much wiser!! LOL Well that is enough silliness for now - this sure is a happening month at our house. My birthday, moving into our new home, my mom's birthday this weekend, the annual ball at Siggi's work and waiting for our 2nd miracle to arrive next month.

Life sure is grand and I enjoy every minute of it. I am just sitting at home scrapbooking and baking a delish chocolate cake - ala french style!!! My fav! ;o) I am sure Helga Soffía is gonna be ever so thrilled to be able to have a piece of chocolate cake today -I think she might even be a bigger chocolate lover than I am!

New hairdo

I finally went to the hairdresser today - I have been saying I need a haircut for about 2 months - I am so loving the new look. It is so much lighter and I even splurged on some highlights and it was so time for a change! ;o)

The plan was to start making the Christmas cards mid October - yeah I had high hopes for myself. But in real life I made the first two cards yesterday. Guess being preggers, tired and moving to a new home slows you down - but at least I am on the right track. LOL!

Friday lovin!

The weekend is here and that means Siggi and I will be doing a bit of stuff-for-the-new-house shopping and more. My dad, father in-law and Siggi have been working real hard to do al thelittle things that need to be done at the new house and this weekend we are putting some cabinets up in the wash-room. I ma so gonna love having the washing machine on the same floor as my apartment - I need to go down 4 floors to get to my washing machine where we live now.

I have been playing with the Mistletoe & Co collection from Pink Paislee and the fab Shimmerz products - and I am finally done. It is so much fun using those Shimmerz paints, Spritz and Blingz and they look so cool on a canvas. I am so gonna make more of the canvases.

Life can be fab sometimes ;o)

We go the keys to our new home (our first home really cause it is ours not a rental) this Monday and Siggi, my dad and father in-law (along with lots of other family members) are busy prepping the place. That means lots of painting, fixing tiny things, electrical stuff, putting up washroom interiors and so on.

I am so super excited about our new/first home - I could just burst of happiness and it also means I get my own scrap-room!!! Now that is a reason to SMILE about. ;o) So in order to celebrate a little I decided to get back on the sub-wagon over at Studio Calico. I have missed those yummy kits sooooo much and now I will be able to get sunshine in my mailbox every month. Life sure is grand! ;o)

My little girl is 2 years old today - time sure flies and it seems only last month she was a tiny newborn! ;o)

We celebrated her birthday with friends and family yesterday and she had so much fun playing and eating lots of yummy stuff. She refused to take her nap during the day so she was completely exhausted at 6 pm - and so were we. ;o)

 

This is such a happy day today and it is even more special to get the keys to our new home to day too. October 26 sure is a day to smile about!
